WWE fans spotted a Triple H Easter egg on social media that could hint at the return of the towering WWE legend for the double main event between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes on WrestleMania night.

  • Some legends are rumored to make cameos during Reigns vs. Rhodes
  • The Rock has already confirmed that there are plenty of surprises in store
  • Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will close WrestleMania night two

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will compete for the WWE Undisputed Universal Title in the main event of WrestleMania 40 on night two, but it will take place under Bloodline rules.

This was the stipulation that Reigns earned along with his cousin The Rock by defeating Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the first night.

This means that essentially anything goes. The Rock and The Bloodline will make up the rules as they go along, but that also means Rhodes can get some outside help of his own.

Reigns' historic world title reign has been characterized by outside help from his bloodline family during his matches and has led to him unfairly defeating many stars.

There have been rumors that stars like John Cena, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn – all of whom Reigns has mistreated – could look to assist Rhodes, but Triple H has now pointed to perhaps the greatest legend of them all.

Fans noticed that The Game tweeted today at 15:16 PM – or 3:16 PM. This is a number synonymous with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

coincidence? Not likely, especially since he appeared on a truck in the background of Raw when The Rock was defeating Cody Rhodes a few weeks ago.

Of course, Austin is a famous rival of The Rock and would be the ideal person to counter his influence on the main event.

Fightful reported a few weeks ago that WWE was in discussions with Austin about an appearance in Philadelphia, but what those plans would be could not be confirmed.

With the second night of WrestleMania 40 underway, we won't have to wait long to find out what surprises are in store for the main event.
