Solidcore was founded in 2013 in Washington, DC, by Anne Mahlum, a former nonprofit employee turned entrepreneur. He created it to 'redefine Pilates core workouts.'

'They were probably saying, “Oh, we didn't want to hurt him”, but they were definitely trying. Everyone broke into a sweat!'

The publication added: 'I grew up on the water, always running around in bikinis. If I wasn't swimming in the lake or ocean, I was skiing or attempting to surf.

'I am seeing such a change in my body after the whole summer. My arms are stronger, more toned. My abs are very strong.
