Mullins will continue to lead Nielsen Lorraine Port and Finance Authority board


According to a news release, the Lorraine Port and Finance Authority will continue to lead the way.

Brad Mullins will continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors of the Lorraine Port and Finance Authority and Carl Nielsen will remain vice chairman, the release said.

According to the release, a president and vice president are elected to the board of directors every April.

At the regular meeting of the board of directors on April 9, members voted unanimously to retain Mullins and Nielsen.

Mullins has served on the Board of Directors for 13 years; Nielsen has served for 18 years.

During their tenure, both men have served as Chairman and Deputy Chairman as well as chairmen of committees.

“Continued leadership is an essential part of the functional operation of this agency,” said Tom Brown, Executive Director of the Lorain Port and Finance Authority Board. “We are very fortunate to have the time and attention that Brad and Carl give to this agency.”

His leadership tenure begins immediately and is for one year.
