Chino's Healthy Family Day to include kids' activities, fitness demonstrations – Daily Bulletin

Chino's annual Healthy Families Day, celebrating health, wellness and pets, takes place April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Reuben S. Will be held at Ayala Community Park, 5575 Edison Ave.

The city is partnering with the Chino Valley YMCA to offer free programs focused on physical fitness and nutrition.

According to a news release, the theme of this year's Healthy Families Day is superheroes and families are encouraged to wear superhero costumes.

The program will include entertainment, children's activities, obstacle courses, wellness screenings and fitness demonstrations, as well as information on health, fitness and nutrition.

There will also be food vendors and raffles.

For dog lovers, Healthy Families Day will offer pet adoption opportunities, a best trick contest, a dog photo booth and more.
